Little Anandas
Celebrating innocence
We are pleased to announce the grand opening
of Little Anandas – Celebrating Innocence (the Weekend
Cultural School) on the auspicious day of Gurupoornima 2007.
The curriculum includes various meditations, chanting of
mantras, sanskrit shlokas, yoga, rituals, Indian music, Indian
dances, reading and writing of devnagari script, Indian
languages and celebration of Indian festivals. The festival
celebrations are the big events to look forward to for
everyone.
 Life is Education, Expression and
Celebration. Allowing children to discover the truth by being
spontaneous and creative helps them understand things for
themselves. This enhances their creative capacity for life;
and creativity becomes their wisdom. This capacity and wisdom
will lead them to unchartered sea of truth. Little Anandas is
a program to bring children closer to existence and experience
the sweetness of education through love, meditation,
celebration and creativity. Children are introduced to the Art
of Centering through meditations, the Enriching of the Self
through creativity, and the Expanding of Self -Awareness
through self-imposed fun based challenges. Education here
means drawing the inner being into expression in your
day-to-day life.
At Little Anandas, children learn the basic
values of Vedic culture. The Vedic tradition is a constant
reminder, a constant inspiration to work on the inner world,
to transform and to experience a different space, a different
world. Only Vedic renaissance can give the experience of
spiritual truth, the experience of the inner world, the
supreme consciousness.
The program will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays at
Vedic Temple, Montclair. More locations are coming soon.
